In loving memory of Pinto Bennett (1948-2021) and Jim Lemmon (1950-2020)

July 6th, 2021

The past two years have been tough on many of us, and the Famous Motel Cowboys family is no exception. Our longtime bass player, friend, brother and get-it-done guy, Jim Lemmon, passed away due to complications of throat cancer on April 14th, 2020. And "Our Guy", Mayor of Miserable City, and King of Elmore County, Pinto Bennett, left us June 29th of 2021. Our hearts are broken, but the outpouring of love and tributes from people all over the world have been comforting and inspirational, to say the least. It's wonderful to know just how many peoples' lives have been touched by these two remarkable men. We will never forget the amazing music and incredible experience of being in a band with them for the past 40 years. Rest in peace, Pinto and Jim - see you down the road...
